X Factor Mocks American Idol In New Promo

Take that, American Idol. Simon Cowell is back and he doesn’t want anyone to confuse his new show or persona with his past days on FOX’s Idol. To make it perfectly clear they’ve released this new promo clip for X Factor 2011. Notice there’s no sign of Cheryl Cole as she’s been officially replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.

Considering both Idol and X Factor are on the same network it might be wiser to take on other channel’s singing competition rather than chewing on its own arm, but okay.

Can’t wait to see Simon back in action along with Paula Adbul. Should be awesome.

Simon, you may think you have changed, but you haven’t. You sound like you did on American Idol. Good!!! However, after watching some of what you are offering, and if it’s like America’s got talent, forget it!! Don’t ever mock American Idol, as that is where I first saw and heard Adam Lambert, and yes, he should have won You also made heaps of money on that show, so don’t knock it!
I’m going to see this year’s AI tour. I’ll give the X-Factor a shot, and see if I like it.
It will be good to see Paula again.
