X Factor 2012 Finale Results: And The Winner Is …

Tonight one of three finalists will be named X Factor 2o12 champion before a packed house in Los Angeles.

Will it be Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar or Tate Stevens? What did you decide, America, following last night’s finale performances?

We will soon find out. But first you’ve got two-hours of special performances and guests, including One Direction and Pitbull. Oh, and one of the cheesiest openings in TV history.

If this show was The Voice or any similar version of American Idol,i would have loved it if Tate Stevens won, but the show is called the X Factor, and Tate has a great singing country voice but he is one of many,meanwhile Carly Rose was 13 and extraordinary,you do not find such a person in years there she should have won this X Factor show…..many people say she is too young and blah blah blah,but then the lowest age to enter the contest is 12,too me….by true definition of the X Factor is Carly Rose….anyway Americans have got it wrong yet again…..which really doesn’t surprise me!!!The country has gone bonkers!!

This sucks! Tate is not the perfect “package” to win X Factor… He does not represent what the show is all about! True that he has this amazing singing voice but I do not see him to be as successful as Blake Shelton or Carrie Underwood! He is just like any other country singer! He even can record a song and play it in radios yet you’d be confused on who is singing that song. Oh well, just like The Voice this season, America keeps on voting for the wrong people!

  Or better yet make a show like “The Next Big Country Star”… Coz this shows are made to look for the next big thing in the music scene for the world to idolize and buy records for and if country always wins this type of contests then they get limited airplay unlike One D that gets played around the globe!

  I agree that Tate has a good voice and I think he will do well as a country singer. But as for having the X factor he might have a little of that in him and thats all.
  But then theres Carly Rose Sonenclar the gorgeous young lady with the voice of an angel who has the X FACTOR!!! and a whole lot more. Carly Rose will be a huge star one day and everyone who watched her on the X Factor got to see a star born. Thats worth more then 5 million to me.

I think they were going for who would be “marketable”. I do not know of anyone that would pay money to listen to a 13 yr old sing slow songs that are beyond her years. I love Carley, and 5th Harmony, but like I said…they’re going for the “market” to make money.

  I think in this day and age that Carly Rose will be very marketable. She has the most amazing voice and clearly the only performer this season that truly has the X FACTOR!!!
  I would pay to buy her music and to see her in a concert.

Both finalists are excellent, BUT in these singing shows, there seems to be a bias in favor of any country singer who is a finalist. Check out the proportion of American Idol winners who are country singers.

Well america decided Carly Rose will be back next year by that She would of sold thousands of album Fifth Harmony should be back next year too will need a good Girl Group Congrats Tate even if your weren’t my choice but applaud you

Tate Stevens was good throughout the competition but there were some performances he had that were not so good. Tate might become a country star but then again might not be. So far if you look and see how well the winners have done after winning the X factor they haven’t performed as good as they should be. Melanie Amaro is not doing well in her record sales. Some of the others who did not win are actually doing better in sales.
Now theres Carly Rose who had great performances and she nailed everyone of them. She didn’t have a bad or even a not so good performance at all in the competition. Do not count the duet with Leann Rimes since it was not a solo performance for Carly and clearly it wasn’t Carly’s fault for Leann’s lousy performance. Carly did the best she could with who she had to perform with. I just think Carly should not have been paired with Leann Rimes.
Carly Rose Sonenclar is the only one who without a doubt is
the only performer this season who truely has the X FACTOR!!!
But I would have loved to see Carly win but its ok she is going to become a star no matter what and she will get a record contract. Carly Rose Sonenclar will be a big star.
Fifth Harmony is ok and I think they will do ok as a group. But time will tell if they become stars.

Congratulations Tate, America got it right this time. The most consistent and the most deserving to win this one.

You know what, just for the record if Country Music is not popular
I don’t know what is. Here are the tally for this year’s singing competitions.

American Idol Winner – Scotty Mcreerry is now a big country music recording and concert artist.

The voice Winner – Cassadee Pope was a rock band member converted by Blake Shelton to country and won.

Xfactor Winner – Tate Stevens, he joked around during audition that he is a rapper but we all found out what his true calling………

  Hi Ed! I am glad Tate won. He is a good person. Very likeable. I really love Carly. But there are no worrys about her! Brittney can hook her up with Disney. They like to get them young like carly and make lots of money off ot them! And Tate would have had to go back to his road digging or what ever he was doing. Now he can make a much better life for his family! And carly will end up making a lot of money with Disney. So I think it turned out good. Because it was Tates last chance.

OK I at least have to say Congrats to Tate Stevens on his win. Even though I wanted Carly Rose to win.
Tate did perform well in the competition over the other performers but did not out perform Carly Rose. I think people voted more for Tate because of the story he told about his family and his life then they did for his performances. I do like country music as well so I will be waiting to hear what Tate comes out with.
Carly Rose Sonenclar absolutely does have the X FACTOR!!! and is the only performer this season or even including last season performers to have the X Factor. She is going to be a big star and I cannot wait to hear her music.

I have never enoyed country music…until Tate Stevens! I might still never be a country music fan, but I AM a Tater fan and look forward to his first CD. I pray that his life changing adventure will not alter his commitments to “the Man above” nor with his family. His genuine love for his wife, kids and .parents are part of what makes him the Winner! Congratulations Tate. May God bless you and your family as your life drastically is changing. Carly will remain in the limelight, predictably. I expect she will become the “female teen phenom” like Justice Beiber, over the next year. I am also looking forward to CDs by Fifth Harmony AND Emblem 3. I think all four of these will impact our music this next year. Sorry to see LA leave. Really enjoy and respect him. Thank you X-Factor and Merry Christmas to all!
