Last week on The X Factor 2012, we said goodbye to Paige Thomas and Vino Alan. Paige headed out instantly as the artist with the least amount of votes, while Vino was in the Bottom 2 along with Diamond White. The judges decided to send Vino out and keep Diamond.

Now we’ve got Paige and Vino’s exit interviews and they’re both very hopeful and optimistic.

“At the end of the day I really wanted to go further and try and win this thing but I can honestly say that I am walking out of this being myself,” Paige says. “I’m happy with the note that I left on.”

There was a lot of talk going on about her not taking Demi Lovato’s advice last week and when she was asked if she regretted not listing to her mentor, she shrugged it off.

“I do not regret it,” Paige said. “I am the only person who has to live with what I’ve done on stage. I’m very happy.”

Paige actually sounds pretty OK with  being eliminated. She says she’s ready to get out there and tackle this thing. She says she wants to get into acting and modeling and finally make her own music instead of covering other artists like she has on X Factor.

Vino is also ready to see what happens next.

“I think everything is lining up,” he says. “I’m sure somebody up there’s going to hit me up and we’ll make some records.”

A lot of people are pointing the finger at L.A Reid as the one responsible for Vino’s elimination. But Vino doesn’t blame him. While Vino did’t care for L.A.’s one choice, he said he also didn’t put his foot down, so he’s as to blame as anyone. He did want to do something modern and more his style, though.

Find out what else the two eliminated sings had to say in their exit interviews after the jump.
