The only thing Nicole has added to this show is a pretty face. She is totally without the backbone to stand up and say what she thinks. What’s the point of HAVING judges if they don’t have the courage to VOTE!?! Canty was in the bottom 2 for a reason…because he didn’t get enough votes from the viewers. If the judges don’t have the spine to vote then why have them? Nicole needs to go if the show it going to survive. If she doesn’t get kicked off I won’t be watching any more. Nicole made this all about HER and not the contestants. Ridiculous!

Nicole has no integrity and do not deserve to be a jiudge on the show. During previous weeks, she is all about female enpowerment and she voted drew off. It’s obvious her decision is based on the singer. LA Reed control her vote. I recommend do not allow her another season as a judge on the XFactor. Again she lacks integrity.

  Simon is the only judge with the balls to tell it like it is. If he doesn’t wake up this morning and sees how America feels and doesn’t fire Nicole then the X-Factor will go nowhere in the US. Branden, one question who placed Rachel in the bottom 2. Was
it Nichole? or was it the fans? So be it, I agree Marcus is the recepient
of the most un-popular award, not once , not twice but three times
and I guess by reading all the comments including yours this is all
Nichole’s fault. If I was Marcus, I would walk out of that competetion
now and don’t look back, who cares anymore, three times saved,
and still guilty of being deadlast, is like being accused of the same crime three times and acquited three times but no mercy given .
Shame on you, you care about Rachel’s feelings , what about Marcus
is he not a person with feelings. I really think Marcus should just hang
it up, tell the fans to forget about it, we do not deserve him at all.

I do feel bad for poor Marcus. He’s just playing by the rules but he looks like the bad guy. People keep talking like Marcus has come in dead last 3 weeks in a row but two of the three weeks we’ve known for sure that someone has had fewer votes than him. 2/3 weeks he has been bottom 2 but not dead last. Who knows, he might have beat Drew, we’ll never know for sure and I wouldn’t dare guess after this week.

I wonder if the outrage and “death threats” from last week somehow contributed to the outcome. By trying to avoid being the “bad guy”…Nicole became the “bad guy.” Maybe the blame should be placed on people sending this lady death threats. This lady is now scared to vote.

  Death threats are ridiculous, but using it as an excuse not to do your job is even more ridiculous. She should have stayed home. Abstaining from a vote should not be an option.   People need to stop whining and they definitely don’t need to stop watching. Transfer all of your votes to Melanie and continue to watch the show. Keep Melanie out of the bottom and that will ensure that Josh nor Chris wins. I do have an issue with judges not wanting to decide one way or the other though. Early in the competition where it isn’t clear who sang better in the sing off it might not be so bad but when there is a clear winner and you just do it out of personal bias or out of your dislike for another judge then it is flat wrong. Paula has been in the most difficult spot the whole show but she still voted after all and Nicole should have voted for who did the best in the sing off. But Rachel wasn’t going to win anyway so it doesn’t matter. We will just have to sit through a couple more sad performances by Marcus i guess. We can play this same game as voters. Keep watching and definitely keep voting Melanie. Show LA and Nicole a thing or two about playing chess with people’s lives.

  I can’t agree with you more. Threatening the woman over a TV show is ridiculous! I do, however, feel that last night’s elimination was crap! Forget the fact that Marcus hit the bottom two three weeks in a row, but bottom line….Rachel did what she had to do to win the “SAVE” song and lost anyway. So what is the purpose of the rules and guidleines if the judges aren’t going to be fair?

Ed, your missing the point. This is not about peoples votes. Nicole and other Judges are mechanism that was placed in, to assure that fer and just decisions are made when public voting fails to provide justice. That what judges usually do! Right? They are suppose to make sure that most talented and popular acts go trough, not to misuse their power, an use it as an instrument for making theirs act win. What she did was unjust, and it was misuse of her power as judge. Do you think that it was just to save an act which landed in the bottom 2 for the third time !!! Nicole is smart, extremely competitive, and will do whatever it takes to get Josh trough to finale. Did you hear her saying to Josh, the night before : “I have your back!”, and the way she sad that? The only reason why she wanted Marcus to stay, is because this way she knows that next week Marcus is n the “bottom 2″ again (there is obviously no hope for him from voters), so even if Josh lands in the “bottom 2″ with Marcus, Josh would be safe and go trough to the finale. Rachel was competition for Josh. The only think that she wanted but was afraid to say last night out laud was – I’m sending home Rachel Crow.
And, I think that Marcus feelings are fine – third time in the bottom 2 and still in the show…. He is very happy!

  time they are selecting the contestants, the word
  is MENTOR.
  2) what is the primary responsibilty of the viewers/fans
  besides complaining, trashing the judges , watching
  and enjoying the show, Hint, after the panel made their final selection in the Home segment of the show,
  We are now given the responsibility to vote for our
  favourites ( let me remind you what Steve Jones will
  request at each and every end of the show, what he
  says is please if you do not want your favourite singer
  to go home – VOTE for them )
  3) Now there is this dilema of two of our favourite singers in the bottom 2, what do we do with them,
  we pass it on to the JUDGES,not mentors anymore.
  So this judges who got to know the singers personally
  shared stories, develop respect and admiration has now to do the dirty job of sending them home.
  yes they are being paid, nothing is free. Now we have
  treated this Judges as if they are not HUMAN or void
  of any feelings, and called them all the names in the book, for what, because they have to send somebody
  home (which is part of the show, we know that) of which we are part of the reason, but know we are above these guys, we have compassion, except for
  Marcus of course, because he is an ENIGMA.

  Yes, I have in mind everything you wrote, but that doesn’t change anything I wrote One dos not exclude the other. No one has said that being judge is easy. It’s a tough job, and if Nicole accepted it, she is spouse to do it right, even when it’s tough. That mean sending home even ones that you like personally.   In my previous, I speculated why she decided to go
  with deadlock, she taught by now Marcus will be
  in the bottom according to fan votes, so if she goes
  deadlock, Rachel is safe, Marcus goes home but she
  did not hurt his feelings, right? but Murphy was watching this show from day one, the rest is history.

I agree with what you said… However a judge has a Job to do… And maybe dumb ass Americans got it wrong but not because we know music because these shows become a popularity contest… Think about it… How many kids Rachell age sing like she does… After Rachell’s performance last night there was no question in everyone’s mind Msrcus should have gone home… But a judge that gets millions of dollars “to judge” was not able to do her job… Fire her ass…. I think what happened on X/factor with Nicole was disgusting!! If Nicole could not vote Simon should have told her to vote, or to just get out! She wimped out. Marcus was in the bottom 3 times. and Rachel only that one time. Her performance knocked him out of the ball park! And Simon should have stood up for Rachel. I have read where Disney is trying toi pick her up. So she won’t go to waste. But it was the principle of the thing. I am finished with watching X Factor. It is sad when the judges are divas and vote for each other instead of great talent People tune in to watch talented people get recognized and move toward success. Not watch judges who are so egotistical and childess that they vote for each other and hurt peoples feelings in the process. Time to stop watching.

The bawling tears of Rachel has had its effect on so many views. This goes to show that Americans try to protect its children. I think children need a catagory of their own. It’s hard to compete with adults. Rachel was very emotional, but rightly so. She is still a child. Good luck to Marcus. America has spoken. Next week, someone new will go home. That is the gist of the show. There is no need for name calling and threats.

I have never seen such a cowardly response by a TV judge before. You can find a voice like Marcus in just about every Karoke bar across the nation. Not that it is bad it is just nothing different. I agree that I am tired of watching a show that does nothing but make me angry and really can see no reason to go on watching. I am so sick of seeing Nicole with her fake tears. There is no way that anyone could have listened to those two performances and not have voted for Rachel. I don’t care if you were someone’s mentor or sit beside their mentor and are afraid to actually have a mind of your own, if you can not make a choice based on the actual performance then you have no business being on a judging panel. Sorry Simon but don’t think that this show will make it. I think that everyone knows that the reason that Rachel didn’t get the votes is because everyone thought that of everyone there she needed the votes the least. I for one never would have dreamed she would have been voted off so if I liked Marcus in the slightest then I would have voted for him, again thinking that Rachel had to be safe. I mean who couldn’t love that little girl with the big voice and bigger personality. So just to sum it up Nicole ruined the show for me and I am done. Wow ds231, right on the money! Rachael has a unique singing style, while Marcus is run of the mill. However, Rachel will probably go farther now that’s she’s off, than if she would have won the whole thing. How many American Idol winners have had any staying power? I think I can remember the names of maybe two of them. So while I am absolutely disgusted at what happened last night and especially at Nicole’s cowardly act, I think it’s probably going to be better for Rachael anyway to be done with the show.   He is so biased, it’s ridiculous. He said he is “sticking to principle” and sending Rachel home. That right there says Rachel did better, but he cannot go against himself and send Marcus home. If he truly is the great person you think, then he needs to do his job before trying to be the ‘nice’ guy to his mentee. What a weak performance by Nicole. She is a judge she is to make a decision. Based on the last performance Rachel Crow performed better. I understand LA and Simon voting for their performer, however Paula and Nicole were neutral. Paula got it right Nicole was weak. Rachel out performed Marcus on the final song for survival and if Nicole does not see that when a novice does then she needs to go! Simon get Nicole off the show! Poor decisions are not acceptable this late in the season.

She is easly swayed by others opinions, my Husband and I both think Rachel should be brought back. This girl can sing and be a model to other young ones. As for if Marcus doesn’t go home… again, we’ve got it covered. We’ll blame Nicole for sending the vote to a deadlock against Leroy (even though it was Simon who did it), not sending the vote to a deadlock against Drew (even though it was Paula), and for sending the vote to a deadlock against Rachel.

Ed, the blame game goes back however weeks we need it to.

  Now come on Ed! You know who the best singer in this competition this season is. And someone said Rachel was blaming her mom. That isn’t true. Her mom was telling her everything was ok and she asked the question, “You promise?”.
  
  I wasn’t a huge fan of Rachel and I didn’t think she would win but she has been safe all these weeks and everyone has a week where people think that their favorite is safe and dont vote diligently. I believe this is what happened to Rachel and she definitely won the sing off. If Nicole, who had no stake in this challenge, would have voted for the one who won the sing off instead of playing the game Rachel would have made it to the semifinals. Marcus has had three mulligans now. Rachel deserved at least one don’t you think?
  
  But I am not whining about that. If this is the game these judges want to play then everyone in American should play it too to make sure the best wins. And the best is Melanie, so everyone who voted for Rachel should switch to Melanie. It’s time to even the playing field. VFTW now has switched from Astro to Chris Rene and if you don’t switch your votes to Melanie the worst singer in this competition is likely to win. I agree Chris had a good performance on Wednesday night but that makes just a total of 2 for the season. Every performance by Melanie has been good and some were amazing. So IMO she should be the winner hands down!

  What ever you prefer but it just seems to me if anyone believes that a wrong was committed against someone this week they should stop complaining and take action. A complaint with out an action is no good. The only way to send a message that this kind of thing is not going to be tolerated is to hit em where it hurts. We can do something about it and that something is to vote for someone else’s act. Josh will be fine even if he don’t win but they have to know he didn’t win because we viewers took a stand and will not tolerate these things. I will never vote for Josh. Sorry but it wont happen and you can say that I am doing the same thing I am accusing them of. Damn right I am. I am tired of waiting for the universe to take care of everything. This needs to be nipped in the bud right now. Anyway I think the last time I checked we are all part of this universe, so if we take a stand then it will be the universe taking care of it.

  I have been pulling for Melanie since the audition. Josh does not impress me. He gets one line of a song down pat and then repeats it over and over with different intensities to his voice. He just muddles through the rest of the song and then sounds like the record got stuck. That is my take on Josh. So I wouldn’t have voted for him any way. He had a good performance with Wild Horses and that was it. The rest I have not liked. That is my opinion of him as a singer.

The only way I think Marcus won’t go home again is if Chris is in the bottom with him. But even then I have a feeling L.A will keep Chris over Marcus, but it will depend on the performance for the other judges.

Actually, the bottom line is that judges have a job to do… judge and if they cannot do so, they shouldn’t be in the position to cast a vote. If these people aren’t going to follow the rules of their own show, then what have the contestants to depend on?

It isn’t about for whom she votes but that she votes as required. The public can evaluate a judge’s worth based on their voting patterns.

Based on that, overall… Nicole should not be on the panel. Secondly, if it isn’t going to be decided by the judges, then do away with the “sing for your life” segment and keep the show to one hour!

  judges is to MENTOR. Help these singers to become

  they feel did not do the job in the “Save me Song”
  Now again, I do not want to be redundant, why are
  they in the bottom 2 ? Is it the fact that they did not do as good of a job singing or rather convince the fans

  think this over. We all feel bad everytime someone
  goes home, but someone has to go home everyweek.

I for one, am actually glad that Rachel got sent home. She may be able to sing but she seems way too fake and sucks up too much.
“dont cry nicole I’m fine either way” being way too cocky and showing her true colors. Then she screams at her mom “you promised though!” Like it was her mom’s fault.

Even Marcus knew the girl kicked his butt, last night. We all knew Rachel received the least votes based on the Wednesday performance. However, that isn’t how the show works, and Nicole knew this. The woman is paid to do a job and she’s a poor example of professionalism. Last night, Rachel won her place in the final four and anyone who has an ear for talent knows it.

What’s so bad about this is that anyone over the age of 6, who watched last night’s performance, would have been able to choose the deserving performer.

At the very beginning of this show, I wrote a comment to the fact that Nicole was weak, and indecisive. She proved herself well these last two weeks. She will never feel Paula’s shoes. I am done with the

Yes, Nicole probably made everyone mad. Anyone with ears & eyes could hear & see, Marcus should have gone home. He’s an entertainer but he can’t sing. I think even L.A. wanted to send him home but couldn’t because he’s his mentor. The vote should have been a clean sweep across the board, especially since the vote was based on their performance thursday. I like Marcus but Rachel clearly blew him away.

Nicoles criteria for judging seems to change week to week. If memory serves me she voted last week for marcus because his save me song was “that good”…this week she decided that “I cant do this” and basically whimped out….not sure of the rationale expect it puts Josh clearly in the driving seat….Nicole are you sabotaging Josh’s rivals or are you clearly that clueless…

It’s kinda funny to me how things have turned out actually because Nicole is the one who gave Simon such a hard time about Simone and Tiah. I think it was all of them actually when it came to Simone but Simon got them to change their minds. Also I’m pretty sure I recall a clip around the beginning of the show where we saw Nicole expressing her doubts about judging and Simon said it’ll all be good. More or less.

The judges keep reminding us its a 5 MILLION dollar contest. 5 MILLION dollars! That is a lot of money on the line. Before you make a contest with that much money riding on it, you really need to have thought the thing out. If judges can’t judge then the show is done. It’s stupid to have a “save song” when you have put the judges in a position to be part of the competition. They are also “in the game” so they can’t or won’t go against their “principles” . It’s like having a bunch of football coaches judging the superbowl when they all have TEAMS IN THE GAME. To judge something absolutely means you have to be unbiased! There must be a valid purpose for having the “sing off” performance. If the judges are incapable of doing the job they’re being paid to do, then why are they there? There is no excuse for refusing to vote, shouldn’t even be an option and Nicole should leave the show.

I could have told you that based on the Wednesday performance, Rachel would be going home… but in the “sing for your life” performance, she cleaned Marcus’ clock… and HE knew it. Nicole made the sing off a waste of time and energy. Who on earth thought she was Mentor material, anyway?

This first taste of The X Factor makes me want to see more of THE VOICE… Hated the format of the show but at least those folks understand what a mentor is and the role they play.

Nicole… you should have stuck to what you know best… shaking tail.

I have stated this before, but the “sing off” resulted from the viewers abusing the voting process on American Idol. There were people posting after the show that they spent the entire voting time (what is it usually 2 hrs?) voting over and over again for the same person. Supposedly, there was even an app created on cell phones to megavote on American Idol. Since there doesn’t seem to be a way of controlling the voting, a “sing off” between the bottom two was a way of at least correcting the overvoting for personality, not talent.
No one foresaw that there would be judges who would toss their jobs back in the laps of the viewers. That should never have happened. If there is a clear tie, then there is a double elimination the next week. In this country it seems that honesty and responsibility are just words, not characteristics of a decent person. This show just reinforces that.
I like the “sing off.” It lets us see how a person reacts and steps up when his or her back is against the wall. Rachel did step up, but L.A. refused to vote fairly and Nicole wimped out and then listened to L.A. Would L.A. have told her to vote for Rachel? Not!
And so it will go until the show ends or someone finds a way to correct this problem. Personally, I’d like a good variety show where we are entertained by talented people and can just laugh for an hour with no voting. We have enough reality shows.

I’ll say this about Chris Renee, he is creative, writes and is very versatile. Marcus is “dime a dozen” and loses pitch consistently. One more thing… inasmuch as I think Simon has it right in most situations, I think he has made two serious errors with this, the introductory season of this show. Choosing Nicole as a judge… and forcing Rachel to sing Rah Rah songs instead of what she should have been singing from day one, which she proved last night. Had he done this, she would still be in the running.

I have read several interviews with Simon over the years. One thing he complained about the rules for American Idol was/is that “America doesn’t get it right at times”. He always thought that the Judges should have the last say in who goes home. But then when faced with that decision between LeRoy & Marcus… He allowed it to goe to deadlock, when in my opinion, LeRoy was the clear “save me song” winner.

Rachel was the clear “save me song” winner. Nicole wimpped out. But I do believe that they all felt Rachel would have more votes than Marcus.

I really believe Nicole DOES NOT deserve being leading X factor ANYMORE. Judges are to work, and work well. I think she tried to play the role of impartial – and soup-opera leading role-but the true is all judges (including Marcus’s one) realize she is much better singer than Marcus. The problem is that people are trying to save Nicole by saying ‘well America voted Rachel off, not Nicole’. Completely true, yes. But if that is how it is going to work and that is how we are going to look at things, then there should be no ‘save me’ song and judges should not have a vote. And that is what Paula should have done last week with Drew and Marcus. The point of the ‘save me’ song is to give the people in the bottom two a chance recover and let the best man/woman be saved. Marcus was not better than Rachel and he definitely is not better than Drew. The whole show is a joke and a pissing contest between the judges. It is sad that their immature acts are being taken out on the contestants.

They should have never gotten rid of Cheryl Cole plain and simple. I bet whoever made that decision is regretting it now. I hope Simon doesn’t let Nicole come back next season. Funny how Nicole is so popular with DWTS fans but it so hated by X-Factor viewers. Nicole can just got back to doing what she was doing before she started working for this show. If it is to be up to the public vote as to who goes home is one thing, but since the judges have the final say then they should go with whoever did better in their “save me” song.

This show is actually making excited for the American Idol premier. At least on Idol there isn’t someone having a meltdown every week. That’s another thing that I am sick of on X-Factor. It seems like every week someone has a meltdown weather it be a judge or a contestant. Sure there are meltdowns on Idol, but they are every once in a while and not a weekly thing that happens. Also other than the judges save on Idol the judges have no say in the final outcome of the vote. It’s simply whoever got the fewest votes leaves.(I understand if that’s how was on X-Factor then Rachel would have went home anyway, but at least were wouldn’t have had that whole debacle last night with Nicole) Another good thing on Idol is the judges aren’t mentors. Last season on Idol they had someone who was there the whole season to mentor the contestants. Having the judges mentor leads to all the bickering between the judges and obvious biases. In a contest between Idol and X-Factor I pick Idol hands down. The Voice is also better than this show too.

At least next week it’s the viewer vote that will decide who goes home so we won’t have this whole crap of the judges vote.

If The X Factor is going to be on for another season, they need to tweak the judging system. Judges shouldn’t be allowed to throw up their hands and say “I can’t do this!” It’s your job, if you can’t do it, quit the show and leave it to someone who can. Also, judges need to be open minded to the talent of contestants in other groups. If LA was a “man of principle” as he claims, he would have voted for the singer who sang the save-me song the best (Rachel). His job is to vote for the best performance of the save-me singoff, not vote for his own guy just because he’s his own guy.

Its BS that LA Reid voted for Rachel to go home, he literally said she blew him away but he voted her to go home. This is where I don’t like this show. It seems that the Mentors are going to vote for their people, which is totally wrong. Why have a sing off???? This system is so unfair. While X Factor loves the “buzz factor” the integrity of the show is being knocked because the judges are not voting impartially. What separates this show from American Idol or other singing related competitions is that the TV audience takes a first pass at who the X Factor was each week and then the judges make the final decision.

The show would gain more appeal if the judges got together during a long commercial break and/or “star performance” to decide who should be voted off based on the save song as well as previous performances and fan votes/weekly trends. It would be cool to have a panel of top A&R talent scouts as part of this decision process, as well.

If the right judges and talent scouts are involved in the decision-making process I’m sure the majority of America will be happy with the end results on a week-to-week basis. This also guarantees that the best contestant or “X-Factor” wins the competition because the right parties have been involved at the right time (Fan votes, Judges Votes and talent scout perspective).

The goal is to find an outstanding artist that brings the “x-factor” to both live performances and studio performance in order to sell the most records. Who can connect with radio listeners and music venue fans the most? I’ll put my two cents in, and then let the judges do their part. As long as the judges aren’t split by loyalties to their team contestants and/or swayed by emotion and relationship-ties to contestants I’ll bet this show will continue to grow.

Finally, I think they could add a dynamic whereas the recorded decibel volume of the fans at the live performances is included in determining the overall approval of each contestant’s performance. Steve could say something like, “What does the audience think?” (audience cheers and decibel is recorded over 3-5 seconds).

Last but not least: Rachel would not have been voted off if any of the above mentioned suggestions were used. She was the clear winner based on the save song, previous performances and fan votes.

One small item, Rachel was the bottom one based on fan votes
thats why she went home because of the deadlock. Nichole
decided to leave it to the will of the fans. It is hard to say
what she was thinking at the time, I was speculating that
the reason she opted to the deadlock mode is maybe in the
back of her mind that Rachel will stay and Marcus will be
the bottom dweller that will save her from hurting Marcus’s
feelings, but it backfired because it’s not Marcus in the bottom but Rachel. Damn if you do damn if you dont, the fans have
a big bulls eye in Nichole’s back, and just like little bullies
they will keep on picking on her because she does not
retaliate llike Simon would. Only bullies does this, pick on
the wickest one. I have not seen too many bullies pick on
Simon, they are almost afraid of him isn’t it. And yet he
already admitted he was part of the reason why Drew is gone
and I believe that he was also responsible in influencing
Rachel on song selections, a big reason why she is gone.

I do like your ideas in dividing responsibilites especially who
votes on who goes home.

The format of the show is clear, the voters, vote and the bottom two perform for the ‘JUDGES” to make sure that the expertise of the judges corrects any results of the people’s votes (which CAN happen!)..if you can’t do the job you were hired to do, you need to get off..voluntarily or involuntarily! Besides wrong decisions, and wrong results, one of the most disturbing things I have observed with this season’s show is the bickering amongst the judges – it is not only unprofessional and sets a bad example for the contestants, it really puts them in an uncomfortable position when they are standing up there having to listen to it and try not to react!

Good one, I agree 100%. My only small problem with it is the
human emotions mixed into the pot and makes it twice difficult
to just send someone home just like that especially after you
get to know each and every singer. None of them are less likeable and all of them are really talented or they won’t be in this competetion.

We can talk about this all day but I have been thinking for next
year if I was Simon, I will definitely drop the Judge part away
from their responsibility and concentrate with Mentoring and
developing their chosen singers. I will retain the “Save me Song” as the final decisive tool for who goes home. But
I will install or device a voting system and will let the audience
that are present to decide who stays and who goes. This will
remove the so called bickering among judges, hate mails
and death threats coming from ignorant viewers and transfer
the responsibility to the audience based on what they like the best. How is that, it might work, but I am not Simon so…….:)
There is strength in numbers and I’m sure the audience can
handle a unbiased and smart decision on who stays and who
goes home.

Judges should always be impartial and unbiased even if they are mentoring a certain group they can still be honest. Nobody has been in a more difficult place than Paula this season and it was hard for her but she voted in the end for one of her groups to go home.

This shows’ focus is on the judges, not the talent, which has been evident from the start of the season. The show should have unbiased “mentors” who professionally groom the contestants to perform at their highest level, not egomaniacal millionaire judges who make decisions based on who is on their team. All you people complaining about judges and whatnot need to grow up…Nicole had a tough decision and left it up to the people as i am sure alot of people would. If all of you loved Rachel so much and felt as though she should have not been in that position then i suggest you should have voted….because it was AMERICA that put her in the bottom two…not the judges. Also i find it unfair for her to use the same song that she sung a few weeks ago as her save me song…obviously the judges were going to love it because they did before…and that should not be allowed. In all reality only one person is going to win this show and i do not feel it was going to be Rachel because there are a few with more talent. The point of this show is to eliminate everyone until you find a winner…so if you want someone to win so badly then VOTE! There is so much drama over who went home…i mean this happens every week…last week it was Drew should not have gone home (and in my opinion she was quite boring after a couple weeks)…and before that it was Leroy and so on and so forth…people go home every week and that is how theses shows work…if you get so worked up over a show like this then dont watch it…

Like I said above the public does not get to vote on the sing off. Only the judges do. If they are going to let it go to the public vote then they should do another session and eliminate the person the following week based on the save me performance. It is clear to me that Marcus picked up some of Astro’s voters and that is the only way he was able to out do Rachel. So if the judges cant decide on the save me song then let us vote again based on that performance and then announce the results the following week. Otherwise don’t do a save me song at all.

1. The rules are that the 2 should be judge on the song they sing. Not on the previous shows. Nicole and LA (lousy ___) should be put off the show for not following the rules.

2. If a person has low votes three weeks in a row, what type of selling power will he or she have. LA, again is a waste

3. Judges should not vote. When your down to the last 5, no one should go home, the winner should be the one that had the highest average of votes for the last 4 or 5 shows. You announce the top 2 and not the last 3.

4. The show was called the XFACTOR, now its called THE SHOW THE JUDGES KILLED.

They need to admit they goofed. No, I do not think Rachel would go all the way, but Marcus should be gone and Rachel still on.

LA and Nicole stop and read the rules, that is if you can get your heads out of the clouds (or somewere else) the save song is the only thing that counts.

The X Factor had a chance to mentor an incredible, fresh, lovable, powerhouse of a preformer to the top. They had a chance to be a real source of new talent. Instead, the judges got wrapped up in their own made for TV drama and let Rachel slip through their hands. Whether this move was scripted or just a stupid mistake, the X Factor is The Biggest Loser! Indeed, Nicole, shame on you, girl, Rachel is unlike anybody I’ve ever seen. Sure she’s still young and has a thing or two to polish about her performaces, but the girl sings her heart out unlike any I’ve seen, professional or not. I envy her parents, to have a special daughter like that.
