X Factor 2011 Top 5 Perform Tonight

We’re counting down to the finale on The X Factor USA and tonight will bring us one step closer. The Top 5 singers return to the stage where they’ll be performing two songs as voted by the public (and, I assume, as approved by production) as part of the 90-minute performance show starting at 8PM ET/PT.

Only Melanie, Marcus, Rachel, Josh, and Chris remain. One of them will win it all and walk away with $5 million and a recording contract. Wowza.

it’s time for chris and marcus to pack it in. final two…josh and melanie. the winner…melanie. the biggest loser…the fans who watched this horrendous show. the judging and hosting wre from hunger!! simon, what a disappointment

Josh…Although i am not sure he will have the right look, for the Pepsi commercials… So i am pretty sure, Rachel will take the prize…

  I suppose only “beautiful people” are aloud to drink and watch
  a pepsi commercial, wow heavens forbid a scraggy looking
  guy with long hair shall appear on TV promoting Pepsi, regardless whether he can belt out a great song or not.

Wish we could hear Josh sing something like: Like A Rolling Stone. I bet the crowd would really get into it. There are just so many better songs than the list above. Classics that haven’t been tapped yet.

    Well Steve kept mentioning that we the fans would get to pick one of their songs. I never bothered to go to the website and check it out. Just kinda forgot I guess.

    It was announced at the end of the results show last Thursday. The voting time was very, very limited.

    Actually I was listening to the Stones singing Like a Rolling Stone this morning and thought of Josh. They do a much different version than Dylan. However, I love Dylan as both a singer and songwriter. I am from his generation and appreciate all he has done. Peace!

    The 60′s and 70′s , Jimmy, Janis , Stones,
    Elton, The Who, Eric, Joan, etc, etc, etc
    Man that was the coolest era, unmatched.
    We were treated with brilliant musicians,
    and songs that means something, and a
    smorgasbord of talent after talent, What
    happenned?? Did we really run dry, no more
    a few yes, but…………..oh well. Don’t get me
    started.

Right now I am looking for a performance that is really great. At this point I am still voting for the contestant who delivers the XFactor, preferably not once but twice tonight. Also, I would like to see gags on the judges that would be triggered when they start sniping at each other. I just want to see an entertaining show, not just by one performer, but by several. I do have favorites, but I am not going to jinx them by naming them.

  Yeah they just need to get a footbal referee in there to blow the whistle and throw the flag when they start something. “Unsportsmanlike Conduct, Nicole! 10 vote penalty, next comment!” Anyone?

    Or the penalty box just like in the NHL, hah hah
    everytime anyone of them starts acting up, get Steve
    to escort them to the penalty box for 2 minutes. That will stop them from sniping at one another.
    
    Gisele is right, for once I hope this show delivers an
    Xfactor night where we get treated for 1 1/2 hr of
    good singing. Go Go Josh, Go Go Rachel……

After tonight’s show and the elimination of Rachel Crow I am done watching. Nicole is supposed to be a judge. She didn’t do her job tonight. It was obvious to the audience that Rachel out sang Marcus. The boo’s from the audience toward Nicole were deserved. I never expected Rahel to win X Factor. I did however expect her to get a fair chance. Nicole is a coward. I am done and will not be watching the show anymore. I don’t like the format. The judges make the show about them. I thought it was a competition. Can’t wait for American Idol to start. Fire Nicole
