It was just a joke! Obviously, she doesn’t have a few hundred pounds to lose. Probably 40-50. Josh has about that much to lose too, lol. Maybe they can do a weight watchers commercial together. Just need to make sure they put makeup on her for the commercials —those interviews of Mel when she isn’t wearing makeup are frightening!!

i agree was not the best song choice and as Simon said was Las Vegas lol what I said is that he felt more comfortable singing the second time

Yes Marcus is out of his league….sorry to say but I think he only has 4 lives instead of 9…..we will have to see though….

Hi Taymaro, I do agree. I am happy with all the performances, even Marcus’s although I have to admit
that he is not in the same level as Melanie and Josh.
This 2 are singers, no question. But I would not write
off Chris yet, he may not have the vocals like Josh
and Melanie, but he is more original and he does have
the gift of connection, I consider him a messeger.
His gift is in delivering the message, reminds me of Bob Dylan,” yes the times they are a changin…..how does it feel?, when your own your own, like a rollin stone. I think you know what I mean, I’m not saying
he will win the $5 Mil, Josh will win that, or perhaps
Melanie, by the way I am glad she stepped out of
Whitney’s territory, I knew she could do better

But later on the people to watch are Drew, Astro
and Chris, and I am very sure they will earn more
than $5 million when they are signed by their record
companies, Melanie and Josh will be guest singers
here and there like most of the American Idol winners.
I could be wrong,I hope I am, cause I like Josh and Melanie and I would like to see them susscesful.I am getting ahead of myself. For now I am not

I absolutely despise Mick Jagger first of all Ed. Can’t stand the guy and I have never spent one dime on a Rolling Stones tune. Just wanted to state that for the record. And as far as the fans speaking I think the voting above speaks for itself. I was just being objective as you asked. On the other hand there is a video that I had never seen out there. I was just refreshing my memory on all of these songs when we were choosing them for the contestants. The only one who sang what I voted for was Josh. That was “Come Together”. Anyway the video I am talking about is of Michael Jackson on stage singing “Come Together”. I had never seen that video and I actually liked it. It was a little different for MJ. Not quite his usual self and made me smile to see him performing that way. He didn’t do a lot of crazy dance moves but just enough to really rock that song! Maybe something similar would have been good from Josh. Maybe bend his knees a little and maybe a l little fist pump with the microphone on a hard note in beat with the drums or cymbals would have worked. Idk. He just didn’t seem really into it for me. I didn’t get excited about it. On the other hand there is an Asian guy who does “Come Together” on acoustic guitar and he just stands there and kind of moves his head a little but the guitar playing is so absolutely amazing it is unbelievable. So you see it can be done either way but the arrangement for Josh leaned more towards the rock it out style but he didn’t rock it. He sang it extremely well though. As did he with Hallelujah but I have already stated even Tim Urban did well with that song and anybody who is half a singer can do Hallelujah. But that is just my opinion. It may be getting down to personal preference on all of these performances by Melanie and Josh and that is a good place to be actually. They both did well and I haven’t written Chris off. That guy has a good strategy and back story working for him and could take it all. I haven’t written anyone off. After 3 come backs how do you write Marcus off as well?
