the opening performance by the top 4 was awkward. for those who criticize melanie for being boring, josh was completely out of his element and looked uncomfortable. did not move at all. do i think he’s vocally talented? absolutely!!! but they are both vocalists, not performers so if that’s what you define as the “x” factor, they are both challenged with it but blessed with so much more.

Good I actually made a correct prediction for the final. And for once no meltdowns from anyone on a results show.

what a gracious loser. marcus canty may not have had the best vocals but he had the sweetest spirit. good luck marcus!!!! wish you all the best.

Yep I am going to do what I can to keep voting for Melanie!!! She has proven time and time again that she’s the one to beat. I would say that Josh would come in second.

I would like to thank Simon for taking my place in Nicole’s judges chair as I could not make it on such short notice. My previous engagements kept me at bay on this night. I would, however, have been much more critical of that performance. I am sure that she didn’t want to upstage the contestants though. If at all possible I would have enjoyed being there. I feel I could have made myself look rather like the bell end of an ass and left a lasting impression if I had been able to accept the invitation. Life is full of missed opportunities I guess so, Nicole, you got off easy this time. Be thankful for life’s many blessings. Until next time, cheerio!

No surpises tonight, I’m glad. What to look forward to in next week’s
finals are 3 different artists with 3 different stlyles .

Hey Josh , in case you can see this:
1) Sing the songs that the fans like, not what the judges like
2) Whatever you do, don’t step out of your comfort zone, don’t be
fooled , this is the reason you are still around
3) Choose wisely the songs you will be doing, with your style it must
bring all the raw emotions out and into the hearts of the fans.
4) You don’t have to “Move like Jagger “in order for you to win.
5) Finally, listen to Simon delete the dancers around you and
concetrate on the quality of the music.
My 2 cents worth of information.

all I have to say is Marcus made a gracious adult exit. He may not be the best singer in the group. but he is talented and hopefully will do ok.good luck Marcus. For who is left, Melanie I guess, but she is so boring. Josh, looks terrible, and Chris, I hope the money and fame would not get him back into his old life. My opinion none of them are stars and worth the 5 million and Pepsi contrac. sorry

Of the three left, I’m voting for Josh. I don’t like Chris’s moves, his persona, his mannerisms – they’re just odd. I don’t like him as a performer and his voice just isn’t up to Josh. Melanie has done some nice work but much of it has not been what I think is up to speed. I think she failed with her versions of many of the songs. She goes a bit crazy in some of her songs with her voice all over the place. She has a good upper range but I don’t her either. I liked Drew and Rachel but, they’re gone. I’m hoping Josh wins. I think he not only has a great voice, great ability to hold an audience, his versions of songs are almost all really good. I see him winning and he deserves it. And, I’m not voting for any particular judge. I like Simon.
